The last time the Astros and Rangers faced off, there was a bit more at stake than there is for this early season weekend series in Arlington. If the 2023 ALCS is any guidance, and likely it is not, the Astros should sweep the Rangers in their home field.

Entering Monday night, though it was certainly not a must-win for the 0-4 Astros, it felt like the team needed to show they were ignoring the bad play and the bad luck of the Yankee sweep.

We’ve dissected this Astros 2024 team down to the point where it is more mush than solid fiber.  Today, I will steal the turban from the Sports Swami himself, Chris Berman, and make some predictions that I hope everyone will forget about by the end of the season.
